Baycci PPR installation guide
The connection method of PP-R pipe and pipe fittings is generally hot melt or electric melt connection. When connecting, the pipe and pipe fittings are heated to critical melting at the same time, and then the pipe is immediately inserted into the pipe fittings in a straight line. The welded pipe has good contact performance and high success rate. However, pay attention to welding, do not shake from side to side, and the time should not be too long. The specifications of pipes and fittings should be unified. In addition, the welding equipment should have constant temperature control, the temperature is too high and the welding is impermeable, easy to leak, the temperature is too low, the welding speed is slow, and it is time-consuming and laborious.
Installation and connection method
1, before the pipe connection, check the two ports, if there is damage, please cut.
2, the welding temperature should be set at 260±10℃, such as the interface parts decomposition discoloration, burning and smoking and other adverse phenomena, please replace the welding machine.
3. When threaded pipe fittings are connected with other accessories, it should not be screwed too tightly to avoid damage to threaded pipe fittings.
4, when connected with the water heater, it is appropriate to use a metal pipe or hose transition connection, the length should not be less than 300mm.
Matters needing attention
● When handling materials, it is strictly prohibited to throw, drop, roll, drag and damage the pipeline.
● After the installation of the pipeline, it is necessary to do a hydraulic test to determine that there is no leakage before closing or filling the pipeline. The test pressure should be 1.5 times the design pressure, and the recommended test pressure is 10kg/cm2(1MPa).
● Outdoor open-mounted pipes should take heat preservation, sun protection, anti-freezing and other measures.
● When the winter temperature is close to 5℃, prevent accidental damage to pipes and fittings during handling and construction; Discharge water in time after pressure test; When not used for a long time in winter, if no reliable insulation measures are available, the water in the pipeline should be emptied to prevent expansion and cracking of the pipeline.
● When doing waterproof works, do not paint, asphalt and other odorous materials on the surface of the pipeline, so as not to produce water odor.

If the welding point of the pipeline system leaks during use, it may be caused by the following reasons:
1. Improper use of hot melt, high or low temperature.
2, die head serious wear, aging, welding surface is not smooth.
3, in the welding process, the welding surface is stuck with water and oil, which will lead to virtual welding of the contact surface.
4, technical personnel without formal training, improper operation.
5, the installation personnel in the construction process of human factors damage, such as heavy objects hit the water pipe or nails nailed water pipe.
6, pipe and pipe fittings are not the same brand, raw material quality is different and easy to weld.
7. Cracks caused by human factors throwing the pipe, especially the pipe end, were not found during installation. (Most occur in winter)
